We believe the Kingdom of God is diverse. At Family Church, you will see the diversity of culture, age, and gender. This should be a reflection of Heaven.
After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. Revelation 7:9-10 James 2:1-26 Colossians 3:11
At salvation, all believers are filled with the Spirit of God. At Family Church we believe in the expression of the Holy Spirit manifested in praying in other tongues.
All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the spirit gave them utterance. Acts 2:4 , Acts 1:8
Life-Giving simply means our church services are a little lighter, a little more fun, we laugh, they are a little bit shorter. Life-Giving.
Everyone has a past, this past may include hurts, habits and hang-ups. Family Church desires to lead you to the true healer, Jesus Christ.
He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3, James 5:16
Life was not designed to do alone. Building relationships makes life more enjoyable.
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. 1 Thessalonians 5:11, 1 Peter 4:8
Developing the next generation of leaders.
Victory is won through many advisors Proverbs 11:14, Exodus 18:21
The Bible is God’s way of speaking to humanity. It is the inspired word of God, infallible truth written by man under the direction of the Holy Spirit. Scripture demands 100% prophetic fullfillment.
We believe there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons; the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory; that this triune God created all, upholds all, and governs all. (Gen. 1:26; 1 Jn. 5:7)
We believe all people are by nature separated from God and responsible for their own sin, but that salvation and forgiveness are freely offered to all by the grace of Jesus Christ.
The First Baptism is in the Name of Jesus unto Salvation.
The Second Baptism is Water Baptism. Water Baptism is an outward expression of an inward commitment to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
The Third Baptism is the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and the expression of all gifts of the Spirit being for today. Further, we believe in the evidence of speaking in tongues in order to edify and build yourself up in your most holy faith
(Rom. 3:23-26; 6:23; 10:9-10; 2 Cor. 5:17; Eph. 2:8-9)
All who acknowledge Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord are united with Him as members of His body, the one true church. Scripture commands believers to gather for worship, prayer, fellowship and the teaching of the Word; to observe Baptism and Communion as established by Jesus Christ; to offer service to the body through development and use of talents and gifts and outreach to the world. The local expression of the church is wherever God’s people meet regularly in obedience to this command. Cared for and led by Elders and leaders, church members are to work together in love and unity for the ultimate purpose of glorifying Christ (1 Cor. 12:12, 14, 20; Eph. 5:23).
Death seals the eternal destiny of each person. All humanity will experience a bodily resurrection and a judgment that will determine the fate of each individual. Having rejected God, unbelievers will suffer eternal judgment apart from Him. Believers will be received into eternal communion with God and will be rewarded for works done in this life.
